From a round of golf to playing on a high school sports team, today more and more people are leading an active life. Physical activity is essential to good health. And although safety comes first, sometimes injuries do happen.

We are here to help!
The Rehabilitation Center of Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center is the only facility in Niagara County that offers the complete array of outpatient rehabilitation services: athletic training, speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.

Our trainers work with you. They help prevent, treat and rehabilitate sports related injuries in people of all ages.

We also know how busy you are.

That is why we provide the latest in athletic training and sports medicine services in comfortable surroundings and at appointment times that are convenient for you.

Visit us before work, during lunch or after work or school. For added convenience we have evening and Saturday hours too.

As always parking is safe, free and convenient. Or if you need a ride, call VanGo (298-2370) and we will be happy to pick you up and take you home again.

We accept most insurance. Please bring your insurance card(s), applicable co-pay and physician's prescription (order) with you when you come for your outpatient appointment.

What is Athletic Training?
Our certified athletic trainers help prevent, manage and rehabilitate injuries. Whether it is a competitive or recreational athlete, athletic trainers can help you with those acute or chrnic injuries. These injuries may range from an ankle sprain to on the field management of a cervical spine injury.

They also work closely with coaches and student athletes during practices and games, developing injury prevention plans and on-site care. Services to work sites and office setting are also available.

The goal of our athletic trainers is to accelerate each patient's safe return to sports, work, or activity and to provide education to minimize re-injury.

Our School Program
Our Rehabilitation Center provides contracted athletic training services for area schools and sports programs. These services include:

  • On-site game and practice coverage
  • Injury evaluation and first aid
  • Injury prevention and wellness programs
  • Educational programs including in-services for coaches, parents, and the athlete
  • NYS accredited instructors for CPR/ First aid for coaches' certification

Your Athletic Training Team
Your certified athletic trainers are highly educated and skilled in injury prevention, recognition, treatment and rehabilitation. They regularly attend continuing education programs in order to bring you the best treatments possible.

Your First Visit
During your first visit you will receive a thorough evaluation so that a personal athletic training program can be designed for you. Together with your physician and therapist you will determine your goals and course of treatment.

How to Participate
Physician referral is necessary. Please call us at 298-2249 we will be happy to assist you.

Outpatient Hours:
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. same day appointments are available. Please call us at 298-2249. Our office is located at One Colomba Drive, Niagara Falls, New York 14304, take the Witmer Road exit off the 190.

Located minutes from the Canadian border, Mount St. Mary’s Hospital is the hospital of choice for Western New York and Niagara Falls residents.
