Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care - Part Time. 55-60 hours per bi-weekly pay period. The Nurse Practitioner- Primary Care is a licensed and credentialed Nurse Practitioner in New York State who provides diagnosis, treatment, consultation, supervision of stress testing, and follow-up under the supervision of a physician. The Nurse Practitioner provides age and specialty appropriate medical care at the level of training achieved for the Inpatient and Outpatient populations. Advanced certification in Primary Care is obtained and maintained.

Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited school for Registered Nurse and accredited program for Nurse Practitioner required. On-the-job training provided. ACLS Required. Nurse Practitioner Certification within one (1) year of date of hire required. (Failure to obtain certification will result in termination of employment.) RN Licensure in New York State required. Nurse Practitioner Licensure in New York State required. One (1) year of Nurse Practitioner experience in a hospital, clinical or physician office setting preferred.
