Echocardiography Technician
Full Time. Performs ultrasound and doppler procedures specific to the visualization of the heart, it's structures and corresponding blood flow. Studies may be obtained bedside, during stress testing, or TEE.
Qualifications: Associates Degree in Allied Health field, as determined appropriate by the Director of the department required. Certification in Echocardiography required. Clinical exposure/experience in a echocardiography certification program required. Certified by the ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or by CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer within twelve (12) months in job classification required. Three (3) years experience including TEE, stress echo, and pediatrics preferred.
